Records Division
The Records Unit is responsible for maintaining control over the records received by the Elko Police Department. These records include but are not limited to crime, investigative, and traffic reports. Personnel of the Unit provide warrant confirmation, document dissemination, and public records requests, per Nevada Revised Statutes, court orders, and internal policies.

Public Records Requests are released utilizing NRS 239 - Public Records and internal policy.

The Police Department issues the following work permits by appointment only. To schedule appointments, call 775-777-7310.
Bar Employees; Work Permits
Issued Bar Permits are valid for six years
$100.00 per card + $27.00 State Investigation Fee = $127.00
Alcohol Serving Training is required to receive a bar employee work permit.
