All Career personnel licensed Ambulance attendants and extrication certified 
All Career personnel trained to FAA, CFR part 139 ARFF firefighter standards 
All Career personnel trained to OSHA confined space and trench rescue standards 
All Career personnel trained to awareness level water rescue standards 
All Career personnel trained to Hazardous materials operations standards 
All volunteer personnel trained to NSFM ELLF, with 13 NSFM Firefighter I level 
All volunteer personnel Haz-mat awareness or beyond level and 16 wild land FF level 
9 volunteers EMT basic level certified

Emergency Medical First Response:
Nevada EMT's Defibrillators, non-transport 
Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Response for Elko Regional Airport 
Hazardous Material Response to Operations level 
Confined Space Response/Rescue 
Trench Rescue/response 
Automatic Aid service to 35 mile County boundaries 
Vehicle Extrication's/Rescue to River Ranch East, Idaho line north, Carlin tunnels west, and Elko Summit to south. 
Mutual Aid up to 25 miles for County and to Cities of Carlin and Wells 
Extended aid to all surrounding areas, Nevada Divisions of Forestry, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service, and Bureau of Indian Affairs. 
First Response Fire and EMS to Upper and Lower Elko Indian Colonies 

Full Fire Emergencies Response:

2 Rural interface units 
2 ARFF crash-rescue units 
1 Hazmat trailer
1 Confined space rescue trailer
