The Records Unit is the first contact you have with the Elko Police Department when walking in our front doors or calling on the telephone. This unit is comprised of three Records Officers. | If you are listed as a suspect in a crime, the crime report must be obtained from the court. If the crime involves juveniles, that information cannot be disseminated and must be obtained from the Juvenile Office, 665 W Silver Street, Elko, NV (775) 753-4603 | ||||
Work permits are issued Monday - Friday 9 am to 3 pm. If you have never had a permit in the City of Elko you will need to provide the following; pictured identification (issued from a state or government agency) and information about past residences, work places and arrests, and convictions, a fingerprint background check will be conducted. Cash only, checks or credit cards are not accepted.
