Q:      When are the meetings of the City Council held?

A:        The City Council meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month starting at 4:00 p.m. and the public is invited to comment on any issue concerning the City of Elko during Public Hearings at 5:30 p.m. Special meetings of the City Council may be called from time to time.
  

Q:       Where are the City Council meetings held?

A:        The City Council meets in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1751 College Avenue, Elko, Nevada.
 

Q:        How can I receive a City Council agenda?

A:        You may obtain copies of agenda’s for the previous year from this website or you may telephone the City Managers Office at (775)777-7110 or e-mail your request to cityclerk@elkocitynv.gov for all others. Agenda’s are posted at City Hall and online.
 

Q:       How can I get a matter placed on the City Council agenda?


A:       
You may request that an item be placed on the City Council agenda by making a request in writing and returning it to Elko City Manager, 1751 College Avenue, Elko, Nevada, 89801 or by calling (775)777-7110.  To be placed on the agenda the request must be received no later than the Tuesday prior to the scheduled meeting date.
 

Q.        How can I get minutes from a meeting?


A.        
You may obtain copies of all approved minutes from this website for the previous year or you may telephone the Minutes Clerk at (775) 777-7127 or e-mail your request to cityclerk@elkocitynv.gov for all others. All original minutes of the Elko City Council meetings are located in the City Clerks office. Minutes that have not yet been approved by the Elko City Council will not be available to the public until after their approval.
