Q:     When are the meetings of the Planning Commission held?
A:     The Planning Commission meets the 1st Tuesday of each month starting at 6:30 p.m. and the public is invited to comment on any issue concerning the City of Elko during Public Hearings at 7:30 p.m. Special meetings of the City Council may be called from time to time.
Q:       Where are the Planning Commission meetings held?
A:        The City Council meets in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1751 College Avenue, Elko, Nevada.

Q:        How can I receive a Planning Commission agenda?
A. You may request that an item be placed on the Planning Commission agenda by making a request in writing and returning it to Elko Planning Department, 1751 College Avenue, Elko, Nevada, 89801 or by calling (775)777-7160

Q:       How can I get a matter placed on the Planning Commission agenda?
A:       You may request that an item be placed on the Planning Commission agenda by making a request in writing and returning it to Elko Planning Department , 1751 College Avenue, Elko, Nevada, 89801 or by calling (775)777-7160.  To be placed on the agenda the request must be received no later than the Tuesday prior to the scheduled meeting date.

Q.        How can I get minutes from a meeting?

A.     You may obtain copies of all approved minutes from this website for the previous two years or you may telephone the Administrative Assistant at (775)777-7160 or e-mail your request to planning@ci.elko.nv.us for all others. All original minutes of the Elko Planning Commission meetings are located in the Planning Department office. Minutes that have not yet been approved by the Elko Planning Commission will not be available to the public until after their approval.  Audiotape copies can also be obtained from the Planning Department for a fee of $10.00 and are available at any time.
