Reporting to the Facility Maintenance Superintendent, the successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equal; a minimum of three (3) years of experience, two (2) in a Commercial or Industrial environment with methods, materials and tools used in electrical construction and maintenance work; and facility repair, including water pumps, motor control systems, street lights, traffic signals and airport lighting. Additionally, the candidate must have a working knowledge of National Electrical Codes and Local Building Codes; troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical and solid state controls, variable frequency drives, ramp starters and programmable logic controllers. Considerable knowledge of the principals of electrical theory as applied to electrical circuits and wiring systems and the ability to apply this knowledge to work situations and use in troubleshooting procedures; and the adequate working knowledge of current safety practices, procedures, and regulations to perform the job safely.
The candidate must possess a valid driver’s license; consideration may be given to those who possess and maintain a Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician Certification from any state that recognizes such license or certificate. A commercial driver’s license is also desirable
The hourly pay rate for this position is $23.9508 – $27.0620 plus an excellent benefits package.
